Lauren was born in Victoria, and raised in the Greater Vancouver tri-city area. Lauren has worked in the veterinary industry for over 20 years, with experience in several different areas! She started at a specialty/emergency hospital in Vancouver, and after 5 years she moved to a larger general practice hospital. She was also a representative for Petsecure Veterinary Insurance for 2 years, and a representative for Royal Canin veterinary diets for 8 years. She spent her first 2.5 years with IPHG in general practice as the practice manager of South Mission Animal Hospital, but emergency care is where her heart is, so she moved to Fairfield Animal Hospital in 2022. In her spare time, Lauren loves trail running, spin class, and spending time with her family. Lauren's family includes her husband, two grown(ish) boys, two 3-legged cats; Skittles and Snickers, as well as two Australian Shepherds; Neptune and Spur.
